Demographics
The current enrollment for Lakeshore Middle is 635 students.  The makeup of the student body is 89.9% white; 5.8% African-American; 1.4% Hispanic; 2.6% Asian; Native American 0.3% and 1.0% multiracial.  Approximately 27% of our current enrollment participate in the free or reduced lunch program.

Program Offerings
Lakeshore Middle offers a standard core curriculum as well as advanced classes in language arts and mathematics.  We also offer Math 1 (High School course) to students who qualify.  Our “wheel” program offers Band, Art, Computer Coding, STEM (Robotics),  Chorus, Physical Education and Health classes.  Special needs students receive inclusion and/or resource services in language arts and/or mathematics classes depending upon their individual needs. LMS also offers enrichment and intervention through our school wide Laker time.  We have offered up to 15 different enrichment Clubs during our Laker Club/Intervention time.
